My Clifton 5s were the hardest running shoe to break-in in the last 2-3 years. It probably took 3-4 runs to get used to them, with the Brooks Glycerin 14/15/16 it usually took 1-2 runs, and with the Hoka One One Bondi 6s I felt fine with the shoes straight out of the box (consistent across my three pairs). trtsmb.
The Hoka One One Clifton 7 running shoe is a neutral supportive running shoe that provides a lightweight and responsive feel making it great for daily training, long runs, and even tempo workouts. The updated version is a little lighter (8.7 oz for men’s size 9) than the Clifton 6, something I didn’t notice until reading online.
